du has renewed its strategic agreement with the Project Management Institute (PMI), to continue to use PMI's project management framework and knowledge base.
The two organisations have a strategic cooperation agreement, under which du uses PMI's project management framework in order to deliver its internal projects as well as for its flagship programs and Managed Services Solutions for its business customers.
The telecoms operator also works with HIS, a PMI organisation, to gain access to the knowledge in its global database of leading practices.
The agreement was signed during a meeting held between Ananda Bose, du's Chief Corporate Affairs Office and Mark A. Langley, President and CEO of PMI in Dubai.
"Cooperating with the world-class organisation PMI will ensure that we generate maximum value for our customers in terms of du's reliability in delivering projects on time, within budget and consistently exceeding customer requirements. Our execution capability is one of the central pillars for our differentiation in an increasingly competitive market," said Ananda Bose.
"Working closely together at executive level allows us to understand specific challenges in the UAE market. du's participation in PMI's exclusive Global Executive Council and its commitment at the highest levels to advancing the use of project management as a strategic business driver demonstrates the company's leadership in the region and the world," added Mark Langley. "We are very proud to continue this collaboration with du."
